Project Exodus is a stepwise biologic-based, spiritually-centered deliverance program.

What we are...    
.....is a group of people, each of whom has had trouble with dysfunction mood, and/or substances, or been abused - to the point where each of our lives was being controlled and even destroyed by a habit, a mood, or the past. This amounts to being in bondage. Our spirits and finances were broken, as were the hearts of those who really loved us. Yet, very little mattered to us except "the habit," or dysfunctional mood, injury, or bitterness because of the past to which we had become completely enslaved. This led to unhappy or even disastrous life consequences. But out of this brokenness came victory. It is a triumph which we desire to share with those who find themselves in bondage- slaves to an unhappy life. Addictions include everything from sex, food, gambling, through drugs like marijuana and alcohol, or range from crack through heroin to methadone. Mood includes depression through bipolar. Today, we go through each day with out a single thought given to our prior bondage. We are able to fully function within the framework or our respective lives. Our families and finances have been restored, and there is a special peace
in the midst of all of this that is beyond human understanding. What this amounts to is deliverance. And it is total.

How It Works
Addiction and dysfunctional mood permeates the entire being of man. Man, like God- in whose image man was created- has three spheres to his being to his being:
1. Physical
2. Mental
3. Spiritual

PHYSICAL:
Project Exodus approaches the participant by giving careful attention to each of these three spheres, none of which is spared in bondage.
Recently, the gene for addiction was discovered by scientific researchers, who had devoted much medical energy to the problem. Associated research has identified a variety of brain chemical abnormalities which lead to the aberrant thought processes, poor self-image, behavioral dysfunctions, and drug hunger in addictions and even in mood disorders.
Studies have shown that the defects in brain chemistry- and, hence, behavioral problems - can be greatly improved by the use of specific nutrients taken twice daily as supplements. These studies have been put to clinical test. Addiction clinics using such nutrients, in combination with a traditional stepwise approach, brought about sobriety states which were said to be up to 12 times less likely to end in relapse - compared to centers using stepwise programs alone. Craving, or "drug hunger," is a major cause of addiction relapse. It and related brain chemical defects are specifically addressed by the natural agents (nutrients) used by Project Exodus.

MENTAL:
Group support sessions are held regularly in Project Exodus. Common social and behavioral difficulties and the steps are discussed at each meeting. History has demonstrated that people with similar problems, helping one another in an open forum, is very beneficial. ["Bear ye one another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ." (Galatians 6:2)]

SPIRITUAL:
Most importantly, the spiritual sickness of addiction is approached through the healing, delivering power of Jesus Christ, the ONLY "Higher Power." That Jesus Christ can set people free is demonstrated by prison statistics showing that inmates who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour have a markedly lower rate of return to prison, compared to their unsaved peers.

 The Bible - the inspired Word of God, and a "User's Manual" for all humanity - advises that no one gets to God the Father except through Jesus Christ. Project Exodus embraces this critical spiritual principle, and taps into this powerline of God. Without beating you over the head with the Bible, Project Exodus shows you how to read and understand the Bible - and how to know God, who is very real, and very knowable.

WHAT YOU CAN BE:
Jesus Christ can deliver you. He may heal some people instantly (Mk 3:5; Matt 9:25)... while yet, in others, deliverance may be "a process" (John 4:52; John 9:7). Only a sovereign Lord knows His plan for each individual. In fact, through Jesus' death on the cross and subsequent resurrection 2,000 years ago, that healing was purchased for each of us who choose to follow Him; the victory has already been won. The mission of Project Exodus is to help people walk in that victory by addressing the three components of man which are afflicted by addiction or dysfunctional mood disorder.
And so .... what you can be is....

....an ex- dysfunctional person - delivered and set free!

What we are not!
1. We are not affiliated in any way with Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous.

2. We are not addicts! (for we have been delivered from this!)

3. We are not a self - help group, for we believe that preoccupation with self may be at the very root of the addiction problem.

4. We are not ambiguous nor bashful about who our "Higher Power" is, for it is Jesus Christ alone.
